The unfathomable spirit of the sun in its illuminating forms spread across landscapes, reaching its subjects far into the universe.

It is interacting with the creations of life and guiding the course of the day.

Solaris, in its exploration of identity, life and the cosmos, presents a rich amalgamation of our encounter with seasons, plants, animals, water, fire, sky, sand and the stars.

Blue Clan

You are a part of me now
You touched me.

With your kindness and love, so
enchanted.

Your soft lips are kind

Your eyes glow with life.

I’m glad you touched me
You are a part pf me now.
You are The Blue Clan.

Rabari Embroidery

RABARI, the inspiration drawn from the transitional Gujarati embroideries specialised within the Mochi community of Kutch. The craft of Rabari embroidery is stitched with fine silk satin threads using the fine aari needle. The aari is an adaptation of the cobbler’s awl. The motifs usually embroidered are buttis (flowers) derived from Persian or Mughal sources.

A nostalgic glimpse into a time when every stitch holds and represents a story, a dream, or a prayer. This embroidery offers more than just a visual treat; it's a journey into the soul of a vibrant, resilient, and deeply cultural nomadic community.

As we engage with these textiles, we are connecting with centuries of history, heritage, and human spirit.

Maku ~ a conceptual fashion brand rooted in the philosophy of its founder director Santanu Das. A committed conceptual artist, Maku, for Santanu, is an extension of his artistic oeuvre.

The history of textile runs parallel to human civilization, a coded time machine reaching out to our
emotions as a testimony of our heritage, culture and skill. At Maku the textile takes the front seat,
the design statements evolving from the pulse of the yardage. The brand offers select exclusively
designed garment from the fibre to the rack using only hand spun and hand woven textile in
Indigo and many other naturally dyed colours.
